Cookies and Cream Protein Shake: 5-Min High-Protein Breakfast

  • Author: Eden
  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving 1x

Description

A creamy, high-protein breakfast shake that tastes like a milkshake but keeps you full until lunch. Ready in just 5 minutes with simple pantry ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 scoop (30g) Vanilla Protein Powder (whey isolate or plant-based blend)
  • 1 cup (240ml) Milk (almond, oat, or whole milk)
  • ½ cup (120g) Plain Greek Yogurt (non-fat or low-fat)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 23 Vanilla Sandwich Cookies (crushed into fine crumbs, approx. 30g)
  • 1 tablespoon (16g) Peanut Butter (creamy or crunchy)
  • ¼ cup (20g) Rolled Oats (optional, for thickness)
  • ½ cup (60g) Ice

Instructions

  1. Prep ingredients: Measure out protein powder, milk, yogurt, peanut butter, and oats. Crush cookies into fine crumbs.
  2. Add liquids to the blender first: Pour in the milk and scoop in the Greek yogurt to help blades move freely.
  3. Add dry ingredients: Add protein powder, crushed cookies, oats, and peanut butter. Add any optional add-ins like banana or spinach.
  4. Blend: Secure the lid and blend on low speed, gradually increasing to high. Blend for 30-45 seconds until smooth and uniform.
  5. Adjust consistency: Taste and adjust. Add more milk if too thick, or more ice/cookies if too thin.
  6. Serve immediately: Pour into a tall glass and drink while cold.

Notes

For best results, use cold ingredients. If using banana, freeze it overnight for extra creaminess. Crush cookies finely to avoid chunks. Do not store the blended shake for long as oats will absorb liquid and change texture; best consumed fresh.
