Pumpkin Spice Tiramisu: Easy Fall Dessert

  • Author: Eden
  • Total Time: 4 hours 20 minutes
  • Yield: 12 servings 1x

Description

A no-bake, make-ahead autumn dessert that combines rich mascarpone cream with pumpkin spice and coffee-soaked ladyfingers. It’s elegant enough for dinner parties but simple enough for a weeknight treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 ounces (680g) mascarpone cheese, room temperature
  • 1 ½ cups (360ml) heavy cream, cold
  • 15 ounces (425g) canned pumpkin puree
  • ¼ cup (60ml) maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups (360ml) strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 2 tablespoons bourbon or rum (optional)
  • 2430 ladyfingers
  • 2 ounces (57g) dark chocolate (60-70% cocoa), for grating

Instructions

  1. Brew strong dark coffee or espresso and stir in bourbon or rum if using. Let cool completely to room temperature.
  2. In a large, cold bowl, beat heavy cream with an electric mixer on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
  3. In another large bowl, combine softened mascarpone, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  4. Gently fold the whipped heavy cream into the pumpkin mascarpone mixture using a spatula until uniform and airy.
  5. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee mixture (do not soak). Arrange in a single layer at the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Spread half of the pumpkin cream mixture over the ladyfingers. Repeat with a second layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining cream.
  7. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, ideally overnight, to allow flavors to meld and cookies to soften.
  8. Just before serving, grate dark chocolate over the top. Slice and serve cold.

Notes

Ensure mascarpone is at room temperature to avoid lumps. Do not over-soak ladyfingers or they will become mushy. This dessert does not freeze well as the texture may become grainy. Best served within 5 days of refrigeration.
